Why We're Building ParentPal

The Beginning.

We’re two 18-year-olds from London who’ve seen both sides of family life - what it looks like when parents have support, and what it looks like when they don’t. We’ve watched our own parents work themselves to the bone, doing everything they can, and we’ve seen the impact that has - the love, the exhaustion, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going.

“ParentPal was born from the moments we saw our parents trying their best, and wished they had someone supporting them the same way they supported us.”

ParentPal started as an idea - but quickly became something more. We realised that so many parents around us were juggling everything: work, relationships, childcare, and the mental load that never really switches off. They didn’t need another app full of tips - they needed support that listens.

Built by Listening.

Every part of ParentPal has been shaped by real parents. We spend our time asking questions, hearing their stories, and learning what truly helps. They tell us what they wish existed - and we build it. It’s simple, but it’s everything. Because parents already know what they need. They just haven’t had anyone who can create it for them - until now.

“We have the ability to take what parents feel, need, and imagine — and turn it into something that helps.”

What We Believe.

We’ve seen what happens when families are supported, and what happens when they’re not. The difference shapes everything - childhoods, relationships, futures. ParentPal exists because we believe that when parents feel understood and cared for, children grow up stronger too. We’re not here to replace parenting. We’re here to remind parents they don’t have to do it alone.

Whats Next?

ParentPal is still growing - and we’re building it alongside the people it’s meant for. Every idea, suggestion, and story helps shape what comes next. If you believe in what we’re building, we’d love to have you join us.

Together, we can make parenting feel just a little lighter.
